These terms govern your use of the Storysprout app and website. By using Storysprout, you agree to them. Storysprout is a parent-facing app: accounts are for parents and guardians, and children use the app together with a parent or guardian.

1. The service

Storysprout creates personalised storybooks (text, illustrations, narration and video pages) from ideas, drawings and photos you provide, using AI services. AI-generated content can be unpredictable; we don't guarantee that any generated story will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for the content you submit. You confirm that you are the parent or guardian of any child whose photo, drawing, name or information you provide, and that you have the right to provide it.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Storysprout offers a Free tier and auto-renewing subscriptions: Premium (US$7.99/month or US$59.99/year) and Premium+Video (US$19.99/month or US$149.99/year). Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before purchase; the price shown at purchase is the price you pay.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the same price unless we notify you of a change in advance.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and Apple handles all billing and refunds.
• The Free tier includes 3 picture books per month. Premium includes unlimited picture books. Premium+Video adds up to 48 pages of video books per month. Monthly allowances reset each billing month and do not roll over.
• End User License Agreement: Apple's standard EULA applies to the app (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), in addition to these terms.

4. Your content and generated stories

• You keep ownership of the photos, drawings, text and other content you submit.
• You grant us a licence to process what you submit — including sending it to our AI processors (see the Privacy Policy) — solely so we can create, store and deliver your storybooks to you and to people you share them with.
• Storybooks we generate for you are yours to keep, read and share for personal, non-commercial use.

5. Sharing

You may share a storybook by link. Anyone who has the link can view that storybook, and signed-in recipients may see it on their Shelf. You are responsible for who you share links with. You can stop sharing at any time in the app, which disables the link. We may remove content or disable links that violate these terms.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Storysprout to create unlawful, infringing, abusive or harmful content; don't upload photos of children who are not yours or without the parent/guardian's permission; don't attempt to misuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted with a new effective date, and continuing to use Storysprout means you accept the updated terms.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties, and our liability arising from your use of Storysprout is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
